MERRICK ROAD LANDMARKS

There seems to be an interest in reminiscing about former Seaford business landmarks along Merrick Road.

Listed below are a few businesses that I could recollect and I placed them in an Left/Right column. Left signifies the North side and the right column signifies the South side of Merrick Road. I also tried to place them in their physical order in relation to the other businesses.

Joe & El Luncheonette:  On the NE Corner of Merrick & Alan Dr.  Now a Quiznos.

Mike's Firehouse Pizza:  In a strip mall just west of CVS (formerly Nelloquets)  The mall goes from Willoughby to Spruce.  I think it’s directly across from Cedar, maybe a store or two east.

Austin Verity:  First building west of the 135.
